CKEA Staff

The Carlow Kilkenny Energy Agency currently employs two full time staff.

Rory McConnon, Agency Manager

Rory McConnon has been the manager of the Carlow Kilkenny Energy Agency since 2004 and previously worked with a private energy consultancy and development company. He has a Masters Degree in Renewable Energy and a and a Masters Degree in Energy Management.

Key skills:

  • Building and process energy audits

  • Building Energy Ratings

  • Reviews of electricity and fuel tariff structures and supply tenders

  • Technical assessment of energy efficiency projects, biomass CHP/heating/transport, wind, heatpump and solar energy projects including equipment specification, system efficiencies, O&M requirements, fuel supply chains, and grid connection options.

  • Economic evaluation of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects using integrated financial modelling.

  • Project management for implementing energy efficiency and renewable energy projects

  • Preparation of energy management programmes

Jane Wickham, Energy Project Officer

Jane is located at 42 Parliament St., Kilkenny. Jane holds a Masters in Renewable Energy & the Environment. Before working with CKEA she worked with Wexford Energy Agency. Jane can be contacted for advice on energy management & renewable energy projects.
